P.S. (photos: supplemental) ★

(Disposable, polaroid, lomography...I have quite a soft spot for experimental photos. Here is a smattering of double exposures I collected to supplement yesterday's post!)

fullmoon/bluemoon

I'm not sure why these weren't posted sooner. But as I'm having a terribly nostalgic day, I thought it would be appropriate to showcase these dreamy double-exposures (taken by Fletcher Aleckson). I love them SO MUCH.

(^ Fletch, himself)

Also, it's a full moon tonight:

unnecessary necessities with Haley Prochnow

After a melancholy night of watching Animal Hoarders  and sipping on cheap vodka, my counterpart, Haley and I decided to escape the cave, and do some much needed supply hunting.  Appropriately, we went to one of our favorite spots in Minneapolis--Hunt & Gather (just great, guys. Seriously, the best. Every time I go, I can't believe this place is real). After rummaging through piles of stamps, maps, and old photos, and fur collars-o-plenty, we both found some unnecessary necessities to feast our eyes on. Here are a few of my take-homes. The nostalgia makes me swooooooon.

(the day was punctuated with quesadillas from Los Ocampo, and lemon-buttercream cupcakes from Salty Tart. Yum.)

like that one french movie...with that girl with that haircut.

Yes. It's true. Though we swore we would never tell anyone, Haley and I did attend the 2011 St. Catherine's University DewDrop Bop. And yes it fullfilled all of our wildest dreams. And yes we waited in line amongst chatty girls, and snotty kids to get this photostrip (which was nothing considering I've been waiting all my LIFE to get my pawz on one of these). And yes we got free ice cream--which provided awesome pose inspiration, as you can see...And yes it confirmed that I will never miss all-girl-private-catholic-school-end-of-the-year carnivals ever again. Ever.
